Someone gag Julius Malema please!

Julius Malema can talk jo. Eeeehhh! Y'know, I'm one who still insists Julius isn't as dumb as he acts out in public. An idiot wouldn't mobilise and enchant so many people and get them to support every word he says, no matter how senseless it is. Its true, a large number of his supporters are poor, uneducated and unemployed. People who will listen to anyone that comes and revives their hopes for a better life. Dude, they listen to Helen promising them houses even though they had seen her give the people in the next native yard (still can't get over this hey) open toilets. *shaking my head*

Its the way of politics I guess and many politicians master this deception thing from the lower ranks of political parties and eventually graduate to the top ranks that way. Then they start rollin in da moola. Ok.
However, with Julius Malema, it hurts different way. He came out as one who is for the people. From the same background, with force and fervour! Fighting for the voiceless . Ok, so did Zuma...but even he wasn't as loud in his own campaign as Julius was. Ngoho.

Julius revived ideas of nationalisation and economic transformation! Mind blowing ideas that made one like me realise...hey...could that even happen so quick? In my lifetime? Equality on thaaat level? Not only for the select few...but for many. Making me take my head out of my bum and see stuff I never thought about. It was to me, just the way things are. He spoke of the way too much of the economy is being controlled by the minority, ideas of wealth sharing and uplifting the youth. Ideas that gave hope to previously and currently disadvantaged people in South Africa. All these were to be possible only as a result of Jacob Zuma's election as President of South Africa.

*Personally, I can't say Jacob Zuma has in any way improved MY life in any way. Perhaps there are people that have...I don't know.

Julius Malema got his wish and Jacob Zuma became president.
However, he didn't immediately get down to implementing the ideas he had been ranting and foaming at the mouth about before the elections. Instead, with a nice thick pocket, he increased his already lavish lifestyle, living it up, the lavish parties he threw and attended, the buying of properties a person who earned as little as he was supposed to earn could never afford...and filling his ANC shirt to disturbing proportions. What is it about getting money and it showing in your belly mara? Is it eating things you weren't used to? Eating them even for the years you couldn't afford it. *Teeheeehee. I joke* He started living like the very same people he accused of stealing from the poor. Hawu Juju!
It appears it has never been proved that he used tax payers money for this lavish lifestyle, he had donations from his friends mos. My problem isn't his money, its that he conveniently forgot about all those people he had been preaching to. What happened to sharing is caring? There's no smoke without fire. There are lots of people who would have carried out tenders in proper ways were there a good gatekepper who fought for the people and improvement of our country. He had the chance to catapult change in South Africa, starting with the youth. He had the influence, the following. He went and spit in our faces. "I'm here now, screw ya'll", he seems to be saying. That's very sad.

As a poor black child growing up in poverty, one dreams of living the life you see on television. The life we have seen most of the minority living. Its natural that once you get to a position where those things are accessible, you would go crazy, splurge for a lil while. I mean, he's just a young man mos. They say money can make you lose it for a while if it just comes to you without you working for it. However, time for such has to end and then you need to start being responsible. Julius is defiant and refuses to admit his mistakes. Its all about him. everything being said is for HIS own benefit. He isn't leading by example. I should hope he prays the kids don't imitate him.

Sadly, even without him coming out and admitting his wrongs and laying out proper plans to do what he promised the people he would do, he stands there and says things like 'money laundering is not such a serious charge'. Its a crime! No crime can be rubbished! Kids are watching! Does this guy know how much influence he has??? I was lost for words when I read that. Like, eeeehh...haike. Can't dzeal typa gobsmacked. Aren't people in the public eye supposed to be accountable for the statements they make? Is that a responsible statement? Is this guy okay? Is this another publicity stunt? Is he REALLY dumb? What's the logic in saying that? Why didn't he just say "Thanks for your support" ?Who says such???

I'm sick and tired of going to News24 and finding 5 consecutive stories about Julius Malema doing this and saying that and just being an irritation. Aaarrghh maan! Its one thing to abuse your position, its another to mess with desperate people's minds!
My cousin and aunt are staunch Malema supporters. My cousin missed school today and my aunt took the day off to go support him. They took buses and taxis from Venda to Polokwane to listen to such crap. Maloooo!!
Remember the Joburg to Pretoria march? My aunt did it with pride, til her feet were blistered...while Julius was enroute airport to jet off to Mauritius for a wedding.

I hate that we're caught up between this Zuma/Malema war. Akere we already have Zuma and there's not much we can do about that. So why is Julius relevant? Anyway, someone gag Julius please. Please. Its entertaining to see old people behaving like toddlers and taking jabs at each other on national television, but do we need to see it all? Its getting boring really. Mxm. An illiterate calling out another. Helen Zille deserves to pull up a chair and watch this comedy.  Its so childish. Gosh!
Treating the country like their playground and we must watch that on the news each night. We make all the wrong headlines. Its getting harder and harder to be patriotic!
